The Region

Florence, capital of the region of Tuscany is only a 20 km drive away. The cultural and historical impact of Florence is overwhelming. Discover the city with his monuments, museums, famous palaces and bridges. One of the bridges in particular, however, stands out as being unique – The Ponte Vecchio, whose most striking feature is the multitude of shops built on it. The city is one of Italy's most atmospheric and pleasant, retaining a strong resemblance to the small late-medieval centre that contributed so much to the cultural and political development of Europe.

Arrival by car :
From highway A11 Firenze - Pisa Nord, take exit Prato Est. Follow a tree-lined avenue in the direction of the city centre “Centro” until you get to a roundabout after about 300 m. Continue straight on and pass through the tunnel. About 200 m after, turn right. Pass through the old city gate Porta Frascati

Arrival by train :
From Prato Centrale railway station
By bus (about 5 minutes) : Take LAM BLU line in the direction of Nenni and get off at Piazza delle Carceri stop. To the church’s left, you will make out the hotel’s sign.
On foot (about 15 minutes) : Cross the square in front of the station, walk over the bridge across Bisenzio River. Cross Piazza Europa and take Viale Vittorio Venetto. Continue on Piazza San Marco and then on Via Mazzini. Continue straight ahead on Via Cairoli. Hotel Flora is located 150 m down the street.

From Prato Porta al Serraglio railway station
On foot : Exit the station and walk straight ahead on Via Magnolfi. Cross Piazza Duomo and turn left into Via Mazzini. Continue until you reach Piazza del Comune. Near the fountain, turn left into Via Cairoli. Hotel Flora is located 100 m down the street.

Arrival by airplane :
Firenze Amerigo Vespucci (Peretola) airport is about 15 km from the hotel away. By car, take highway A11 / E76 and exit Prato Est. Then follow the above driving directions. You may also take bus LAM MT PRATO and get off at Piazza delle Carceri stop.
