Hotel Kristaly is located a few steps from the shores of
Lake Balaton, in a quiet and leafy neighbourhood of
Keszthely, Hungary’s favourite holiday spot.
Green hills and Mount Bakony’s steep volcanic slopes drape
Northern Lake Balaton, while long strands of beaches and
sandy dunes characterize Southern Lake Balaton. The lake offers the
whole range of coastal pleasures from lazing to various water
sports. These get to be all the more enjoyable as water
temperature in summer rises quickly to between 20°C and 26°C.
You will find a wide range of high-standard facilities at our

Map & Directions
Hotel Kristály is located in a quiet neighbourhood of
Keszthely, on the western tip of Lake Balaton, in
western Hungary.
Arrival by car :
Coming from Budapest via motorway M7, take exit no.
170 and continue until Keszthely. When arriving at the town,
continue for about 1,7 km, driving past Balatoni Múzeum
(Balaton Museum). Turn right onto Balaton utca. After about
300 m, turn right again onto Petőfi utca. At the end of the
street, turn left onto Lovassy Sándor utca. The hotel is
located on the right, 200 m down the road.
Coming from Austria via the border in Sopron, continue
on Road 84, driving past Sárvár. In Sümeg,
continue in the direction of Zalaszántó and then
Keszthely. At the roundabout at the beginning of the town,
take the second exit. Continue all the way straight for 1,3 km. The
hotel is located on the left.
Arrival by airplane : Balaton-Keszthely Airport is 16 km from the hotel away.
Flights from Frankfurt and Dusseldorf connect to this airport.
Vienna Airport in Austria is 205 km away. Rejoin motorway A3
in the direction of Klingenbach and Hungary. Having passed the
border, continue until Sopron. Then follow the above driving
directions.
Budapest Airport is 220 km away. Take the bypass in the
direction of Balaton and rejoin motorway M7. Continue in the
direction of Keszthely. Then follow the above driving
directions.
