Enjoy our special season's offer, the "Polenta Festival" every Friday offering a wide range of different Polentas.

Or try our typical dishes such as Capuns and Pizzocheri.

Capuns is a traditional dish from the Grison made of Spätzle-pastry, enriched by herbs, finely sliced Salsiz or air dried meat from the Grison. The pastry is being wrapped up in mangold- (colloquial: Capuns leaves) or lettuce leaves. The Capuns is then being cooked and scalloped with cheese from the alps and served with a sauce made of half milk half bouillon.

Pizzocheri is a meatless dish made of potatoes, Pizzoccheri (buckwheat pasta), carrots, leave spinach, onions, garlic, peas, herbs and cheese. The potatoes, together with the Pizzoccheri, are then being cooked in salted water and thereupon mixed with the vegetables. Finally, sage and cheese are being added.

The Region
Summer: Impressive mountain peaks, trout fishing in the mountain lakes and rivers, tennis, sailing, hiking and mountain climbing.

The hotel organises each summer guided hiking tours of approximately 2 hours.

Two one-day horse trips are organised each week in Summer in the idyllic Bergell passing the "Septimer", famous roman col.

Winter: Alpine skiing (30 km slopes), cross-country skiing, ice skating, winter hiking trails.

Excursion
Bobsleigh in St. Moritz

If you wish to have an experience of a life time, slope down in a bobsleigh on the St-Moritz' Olympic track like Michael Schumacher does!

The team for this thrilling descent is composed with a professional pilot at the front, of a person in charge of breaking at the rear and of two seats in the middle of the bobsleigh for the customers. This descent lasts approximately 80 seconds...

You can send your request for reservation for a descent in bobsleigh to Giancarlo Torriani, Minotel owner in Bivio (first on the left of the picture), Swiss champion & Swiss vice-champion of bobsleigh for four in 1976 and champion of Europe in bobsleigh for four in 1977.

Winter
For the Winter you find the most attractive winter resort of the East alps with 205 well maintained ski slopes. Whether you are skiing, snowboarding, sliding, cross-country skiing, ice-skating or simply going for a relaxing walk through the winter landscape, full winter pleasure!

Summer
During Summer you find a wide range of special offers such as hiking, guided botanic walking tours, biking or fishing.

Whether with a professional guide or on your own account, each hiker and each biker finds diversification, recreation and relaxation. Important pass crossings, trout fishing in the rivers and mountain lakes, tennis, surfing, hiking and mountain climbing.

The hotel organises every Summer guided walking tours of approximately two hours.

Horse riding: With us you will experience your horse riding holidays in a different way. The riding stable is maintained with great care and attention by Genny Torriani. Our offers reach from the hour-half day or day ride to the jovial evening ride to the alp Natons with bacon and wine. Our prime attraction is the two- respectively three- days-ride over the historic Septimer pass to the idyllic Bergell to Bondo. A unique experience!
